Latest Version News (quick look)
|
 |
|
Since I have been updating TadsBits often, I decided to put a box on the top of my front page that lets you know what the latest version is:
Version 2008-03-20.
Release Date: 2008-03-20 (the version number)
Changes:
There was a bug in reporting missing repeating attributes. (It worked OK if there were none missing, but if there was one missing, it gave you the name of a single attribute).
Version 2008-03-20b
Release Date: 2008-03-20
Changes:
As requested, added the ability to tell TadsBits not to dump certain attributes. This is simply a text box on the dump page where you can list your attributes (separated by a comma). When I get time, I will pretty it up and give you a way to select them from a list.

| Free Simple Port Tester no available in downloads section. - Thursday, March 06, 2008I created a port tester for your use. I used it between two servers to make sure the Documentum ports were open. I decided to add it to my site. You can find it in the Downloads section.

| A new step for TadsBits! - Saturday, March 01, 2008I have now created an installation package for TadsBits! This means you no longer have to download the program, DLL and user guide. It now installs and creates a program menu entry. It also puts the DLL where it is needed. Let me know what you think.

| New Version is now available (with some fixes) - Wednesday, February 27, 2008Whats new in this version:
1. It should properly read your Docbase version now.
2. Groups with a large amount of users can now be dumped (I have tested 110000).
3. Fixed a bug with the SQL date conversion.
Immediate ToDo List:
Test dumping users with a large amount.

| Older versions - Thursday, February 21, 2008I just updated the code to allow group dumps from Docbases at least as far back as 4.2 (I can't get documentation for older versions than that). If there is anything that I doesn't work on older versions, please let me know. I don't have access to a 4.2 Docbase, so your testing will be a big help!
Thanks.

| Watch for updates! - Thursday, February 21, 2008I have been changing the program a lot recently (due to user feedback).
The latest version fixes an assumption I made:
I assumed that the Database Owner would be the same as the Docbase name. This is not always true. Version 2008-02-21 fixes that assumption.
Have a great day.

| New version (again) - Monday, February 18, 2008I fixed a bug (I didn't expect single ticks in group names). You can find the new version in the downloads section.
Keep sending bug reports to me! I'll fix them as soon as possible.

Excellent DQL / Client
|
 |
|
If you are looking for a good program for running DQL commands, please give Delilah a try!
For me, the best feature is exporting query results to Excel, but that is just an example of what this wonderful program can do.
